I've noticed that Euclid eats a lot more outside than inside. Originally, I had just decided this was because outside is more interesting and she tends to be more active outside in general. I was watching her eat the other day though and I noticed she seems to get frustrated when the leaf isn't anchored down to a plant because it's harder for her to break off her bites. I think this might be part of why she eats more outside, so today, I taped her inside-feeding leaves down so that they would be anchored, and she's eating a lot more!

Of course, sometimes she does eat more than others, so I'm going to keep feeding her this way and see if it does make a difference overall. So, sharing my findings may be premature...I'll report back and let you know how it goes in the long term.
