You need to set up an enclosure for recovery. Keep him indoors on towels and provide a basking spot under an incandescent flood light.

I think the vet has done the necessary emergency treatment already.
Now he needs to be kept in clean, warm and quiet conditions and treated with antibiotics.
Also remember shallow warm soaks.
Is the plastron ok?

The vet told me no soaks untill she is better
He said not to wet her a month maybe
She lived in the wild, she was not familiar with soaks anyway
She got antibiotics, the vet told me she is better now
The plastron was also broken and the doctor did with the plastron as he did with the shell, he attached it with wires and put special cement over
The only problem are the legs, she can t use them no more, but it is not totally paralized, she can pull them under the shell and take them back, she just doesn't have the strength in them anymore

The tortoise may get the use of the legs back gradually over time after this traumatic injury. It takes tortoises a lot longer to heal than it does mammals. After this type of trauma, it could possibly take a number of months for the legs to get back to normal.

Don't give up hope, the tortoise may still walk again.

Good luck!

How would you prevent dehydration?
I force feed her with a little water with a syringe once a day and i wet her head a little bit
The vet told me not to force her too much because i am not doing her any good by forcing her but i am aware that she needs to be hydrated
