Indoor mosquitoes?????

Has anybody ever suddenly had a brood of mosquitoes hatch out of their INDOOR turtle aquarium??????!?!??
Ummm...Asking for a friend.

You can usually get mosquito fish for free from the Mosquito Abatement District in your town. But, no, to answer you question, I've never had mosquitos lay eggs in any indoor water I have.

I've had stray mosquito larva in fish tanks. Our house is generally too cold for any surviving adults to bite and re-start the cycle.

Carnivorous fish will eat them...if your turtles let the fish last long enough!
