My name's Natasha but it's Tash for short. I've gotten my first tortoise today, it's a baby horsefield and I would like to know how to tell its gender but I've been told it's too young to tell.

Hi Tash, and welcome to the Forum!!

We have a good care sheet pinned at the top of our Russian tortoise section. Get rid of the pellet substrate and make changes according to what you read on our care sheet, and your new baby will be a happy camper. Right now he looks very dry. Also, he's way too young yet to know what sex he is.
