Newbie from Azerbaijan . In my country if you have pet turtle(tortoise or other exotic pets ) people thinks you are crazy ). We have few pet stores and they only sell things for dogs and cats.
Nobody knows how to take care of tortoise even vets .
This kind of forms helps a lot . So..Thank you a lot

Welcome. Even in the US, it is unusual to own a tortoise. When people find out I have one, they don't tell me I'm crazy but they might be thinking it! It is hard to find help locally.

I have the same problems in Morocco, tortoises are just kids toys here and everyone thinks caring about them is crazy.
Also no tortoise vets and pet stores for dogs, cats and birds.
