Hi all
I am fairly new to this so please bare with me!
I have a (aprox) 1 year old Hermanns tortoise and am struggling with the enclosure.
I currently use a mix of Tortoise Life Substrate and Orchid Bark which it seems fine with…. Unless anyone else has any other recommendations. But I am struggling with the humidity levels in the vivarium. I currently have the warm end at 30 degrees and the cool end stays at around 20 degrees - this was recommended temperatures from who I got the tortoise from.
My humidity is currently sitting at 99% day and night and I have seen a lot of threads regarding this being too high! How can I get the humidity down and keep it at the ‘correct’ humidity?
Any other tips etc would be much appreciated - I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing.
