I hadnt picked up my hermann for a couple of days and today I noticed that his back feet were warn down like they had been filed. I relised its from him trying to get out of his tortoise table he goes crazy trying to climb and he must of moved his bedding so there wasnt much left so his feet must have scraped against the wooden floor. Should I take him to the vets because his feet look white where the scales are worn also one of his nails is half worn down and another looks dislodged.?

As long as his feet aren't red or raw, he should be fine. I would though put some small squares of a smooth material in the corners, so when he digs down he won't be scraping the wood.

his feet do look quite raw a white colour. i will try to put some thing in the corner whats best?
