You mean some puss comes to the surface and you can see and smell it? Or there is perhaps some stuff adhered to the shell and if you gently soak and then clean with a soft bristled toothbrush it will be gone?

That white spot in the middle
looks perfectly normal! most russian tortoises are wild caught and on there way to the US there shell gets sometimes a little damaged.
your little one looks almost full grown, way older than a year old.
are you sure its puss under the shell. is the shell squishy

No it's not squishy it's just a little soft and I see like a white puss under it's shell when I slide my finger with a pit of pressure I see like a white puss moves

Puss is usually a sign of infection of some sort, it is the dead white blood cells your body used to fight off an infection. ( basically).
the fact there is a soft spot on the shell is unusual, but I have seen something similar many years ago. It was an injury a tortoise recievec that was infected. Does it smell? puss usually does.

I think you're worrying over nothing. You have a full grown Russian tortoise, not a baby. He's probably over 10 years of age. The Russians that you buy in a pet store are wild caught and they get dinged up and scraped during capture and shipping. One hardly ever sees a wild caught Russian tortoise with a perfect shell.

I say his shell looks fine to me and agree he looks like an adult wild caught tort, so imperfections are normal.

I just suggest to keep an eye on it, don't poke at it much but just watch it, if it looks to be growing that's when you should look into potential issues. My Franklin has one part of his shell that's dented in presumably from shipping, and although it looked worrisome in the beginning it's never presented as anything.
