Ok thanks!

Would baby tortoises be bad for first time tortoise owners? or do they need the same care as adults?

I like to see a first time tortoise keeper start with an older tortoise. But if you follow the advice of our more experienced keepers here on the forum, you can raise a tortoise from a hatchling. They need the same type of care as an adult, but they are pretty fragile and you have to be on your toes to watch for problems.

Hi Sean, I am in Mass also, and if your serious about a RedFoot, maybe we can work something out. I have a small one that I have been debating about. Not a hatching, but not an adult. PM me if your interested.
