My mother in law has been keeping these turtles for a while now. I was wondering if these guys are looking ok. They seem to be very active and they eat like monsters. The second one with the crack in his shell seems to have something new on his back I'm not too sure what exactly it is but it doesn't look too good. I'm told when she bought it the turt already had a little crack in his shell. I remember buying conditioner for him but it hasn't gone away. His shell also seems to be a little indented near the tail. Also they were all bought around the same time and were very similar in size when she bought them but now two are huge and one hasn't grown at all. I am open to all criticism and advice I just want to make sure these little guys are doing alright!

Those are some pretty nice-looking red ear sliders.

I don't see what you're seeing on the cracked shell turtle, but maybe its just a scute getting ready to flake off. They do shed them occasionally.

I tried to make this as clear as possible, excuse my camera! The top right area is a little different and the middle area second to the top is looking chipped. It's like a little indent.

Do you have them a basking spot? They need uvb and they need to get out of the water to dry off . So they can shed properly . Besides that they look good to me .

Yes absolutely! They have an area to climb out to dry with with a 50 watt incandescent red light bulb for heat and 50 watt UVB incandescent colored blue. I was just worried about the little guy in the last post his shell worries me.
