Allo there, grad student on a budget here. I've got $20 to liven up Sheldon's habitat so... what's a good place to get a couple fake plants for cheap?

I'll be growing stuff later (you'll be bombarded with questions then). For now I just need something to make the place more green!

Fake plants work well,to help with visual interest. Mine have absolutely no interest in eating them.
Craft stores are a good source and might have sales on and off. I got a couple of smaller ones in pots and the pots were quite heavy; braced with a brick, they have remained upright so far :p.
You can get lengths of 'ivy' and twine it around the edge.

I've had pretty good luck getting fake plants at the dollar store. Avoid the ones with glitter on them and you should be fine.

if there are dollar stores, independent 99 cent stores, and or michael's craft stores, should fill the bill nicely.
