I'm going to the store today to get rocky more food, what are some suggestions you guys have of lettuce and veggies i should get? I want to get him some things he hasn't had before. I know it's important for them to have a variety diet Any suggestions?
I've gotten
*kale
*spring mix
*mustard greens

I've stopped buying spring mix. Lately it has too much spinach in it. Out of one package, 3/4's of it was spinach. I don't mind a little bit, but that's just too much.


Look for turnip greens, escarole, endive, raddiccio, collards...

I saw the same thing with the Spring Mix. I ended up picking out a lot of spinach. Fortunately, the kiddo loves spinach, so I just give all that to him. But next time, I will probably buy other greens and mix them myself. I just bought some cactus pads from carolinapetsupply. Hopefully they will be arriving soon!

The ones being sold for humans. Here there is just one option (and not in most of the stores). I have heard some places even carry it cut up like in CA.
