On Sunday
1/15/12 I purchased a hatchling Florida box turtle and so far she has just hidden in her substrate of coconut husk and cypress mulch. I have taken her out every morning to soak her in warm water, but she has not pooped yet and its been a few days. She has eaten well and she is very alert and chases her worms and crickets around. I checked her eyes and nose and they are clear. Her shell seems nice and hard and when I gently pulled her leg, she pulled back. I just want to make sure that it is ok that she hasn't pooped even though she has eaten. Her cage is around 65% humidity. Basking area around 85-90 and I just replaced the UVB bulb yesterday to ensure it is working well.
Thanks!
