I have two adult female eastern box turtles. They live in a fairly large enclosure and have access to bugs and plants and stuff but I am just wondering how often I should feed.
I have 3 females and 1 male. Once a month I place 500 worms from uncle Jim's worm farm in their enclosure. This allows them hunt and dig freely. Once a week I put them all in a Rubbermaid container and put 50 Dubai roaches in with them. I don't take them out until most or all of the roaches are gone. And once a week I toss 4 pinkies into their enclosure. Who ever eats them, eats them. This might be over kill. But they are a breeding colony for me and very active so it all pays off.
I also grow grape tomatoes and lettuce in their enclosure Bc of the good soil from the worms. I use those for my Russians, but I always catch the ebt's eating the lettuce and tomatoes.
