Hello all,

My name is Tammy, and I live in the sunny south east of Ireland.
I have one little tortoise, 7cats, 4dogs, 2cockateels, 2 miniponies, a beardie, 2 axoltls and a gecko..... quite the collection :)

We take in animals who usually have not been treated the best and help give them a better life and home. My tortoise "Pudge" is one of those lil guys. I was hoping someone might be able to help me identify what type of tortoise he is? His papers say he is a Greek, but I'm having some doubts.

Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions!

Hi Tammy:

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

I'll leave your tortoise i.d. to someone more qualified than I.

Hard to tell from the pics, but I'll hazard the guess of one of the North African Greek subspecies...looks like some pyramiding, but not dangerously so.

And welcome.

Yeh had a feeling there was some pyramiding when i got him, which i know is not fixable, but as he grows I was hoping they would smooth out as he got older, and so far so good :)
