I have never used the site. I would advise choosing a spineless variety as the prickles seem to get everywhere. If you are looking to grow it in an outdoor enclosure, choose one that is suited to our climate. I have a couple that are doing fine in pots outdoors, but can't remember the varieties.

Hi spud. Just love that name. Anyway. Have a look on www.tropicalbritain.co.uk. it's a good overall plant site. Even has a south american and African section.
