I've mounted my 5.0 light fixture to the inside of my plexiglass lid. My baby RF lives inside this enclosure about 40% of the time. It's my foul whether indoors closed system. I have made holes to cool the light ballasts. The whole top hinges up and down for access.

I keep the plexiglass lid cracked open various degrees depending on the humidity. It quickly exceeds 90%! The temps stay about 77-81. It is heated by a taped on 15 watt heat rope under the tank on the outside of the glass mostly on the right side. Potting soil over damp orchid bark for substrate. Cheap. Easy.
