Does your tort ever have "slow days?"

Sometimes my russian tortoise will wake up really late. Like two in the afternoon opposed to her regular 11:30. Has anyone else's tort done this before?

Absolutely. Don't you as well?

It is often weather related for Joe, but it could simply be that he ate a lot the day before and isn't hungry.

Yes. Some days they are active and some days they just want to be left alone and cuddle the dirt. :)

Ditto - mine has his days too, where he just doesn't want to be bothered.

My tort is having one of those days right now. Most of the time he is very active, but he occasionally "crashes" and sleeps for a full day before being really active again.
