does turnip green and chiory ok for tort?

from this website, It states not to feed turnip and feed in moderation on chiory.
but I see many ppl feed this two type of foods as regular meal to tort

The tortoise table is a very good guidline, but is not infallible.

There are a couple if 'do not feeds' on there that I, or rather Joe, disagrees with. He loves to eat our clematis and will wander round the lawn just eating buttercup flowers. I'm assuming after forty odd years of eating them that neither has caused harm.

Yes. I'm in the UK and we have them growing up over our fences. Joe likes both leaves and flowers. He helps himself
