Clamp Light fixture?

Hello,
Im wondering if this fixture will be ok for a MVB bulb. Its just for one russian tortoise.

A 'brooder' light would probably be a better choice. They have ceramic sockets that usually last longer.

No. It would not. Never use the type with the plastic fixture. Always buy the ones with ceramic fixtures and heavier cords. The wider dome will also help your MVB to run cooler and last longer, as opposed to running it in too small of a dome.
