Ceramic heat emitter warm up?

Do they take about an hour to warm up or is mine broke?
I have had it in for 15 minutes and I cant' feel any heat off it..
I just bought it.

It must be a dud or the socket is shot. Mine heats up enough to burn my finger in under 5 minutes.

Yeah I took it back the new one is pumping out all kinds of heat.. I have such rotten luck.. lol
I called the store and they said to wait an hour but it was just cold... the new one heated up in seconds.

Glad you were able to return it. Silly store, an hour! lol. They get pretty hot pretty fast (as you see now!), not sure what the heck they were thinking!
