I found cactus at my local grocery store and I was wondering if it was safe to feed my baby hermanns! She is only about 3-4 months old. Any help is greatly appreciated:)

Yes, it's safe to feed, and good for them as well... I often shred it with a carrot peeler or cheese grater for smaller tortoises.

Yes its safe.
I recommend always removing the needles for all sizes and for babies chop it up very small. I use a food processor.

Yes. Be aware that like any new food, it make take time to get them to like it. Start with tiny amounts minced up and mixed with other favorites.

Opuntia pads are high in fiber, calcium and water content. All good properties for tortoises food.
