I like to think that these two are the best of friends. Ginger ( dog ) always pouts when Dudley ( tort ) ignores her! Hah! However! I never leave the two alone due to the many horror stories I've heard about dogs and torts!

She might not hurt a fly, but walking raw hide is just too much sometimes. It is cute they can be friends, but i am really glad you never leave them alone. I have a dog story and feel guilty every time i see my guys scars. Thank heavens he survived.

The case with dogs and torts usually isn't the dog being aggressive, just being a dog. That's why it's hard to decipher because the dog doesn't act differently, just sometimes curiosity gets the best of them.
