Basking light please help!

Yesterday my basking bulb broke wont be able to make it to petco until Friday my question is can I use a household flourecent spiral lamp for the meanwhile ?

I would say that you are fine for a few days provided that the heat stays where it needs to be with your specific type of tort. if you have a hatchling do not let it go a day past the soonest possible moment to get it replaced.

Id get a second opinion but i think a regular incandescent lightbulb is ok for a water turtle.

Thank you he's not a hatchling just wanted to make sure I want him to be comfortable ... I have a UVB lamp but it doesn't provide enough heat for basking
