Hi guys can anyone recommend another source of heat I can use overnight? Obviously I don't really want anything that gives out too much light as I have a basking lamp for during the day where temps are roughly 80-90 degrees here in the UK it's getting rather cold at night, any help would be greatly received! My little teddy tort is 7 months old

And run your CHE on a thermostat. This will maintain ambient where you want it.

Also, your basking temp directly under the bulb should be just a little warmer. Shoot for 95-100 directly under the bulb at tortoise height.
