This is the second year for our tortoise turkey tradition. It's crazy how much larger and more outgoing they are from last year. I was in a bit of a rush this morning trying to prep food for both human and tortoise so the "turkey" wasn't as pretty as I'd like. Not like it mattered any.. my "girls" were pacing on the food plate in great anticipation. They wouldn't even let me add garnish; it was rained down on them while they dog piled the "turkey".
Loki showed up fashionably late. She didn't care if the turkey was non-existant. All she wanted was to have the plate all to herself.
Btw, Loki hit 9" scl during last month's check-up. I wonder if anyone else raised a two year old, 9 inch redfoot. It's been pretty crazy.
