Yes sir. If temp sexing was a guarantee well then we wouldn't have so many male tortoises around. I swear I inspect the "females" nearly every chance I get to see if they still look female.

Too much money for me Gus I'm sure, They are just so pretty and different, and it might be nice to have something impressive like that that doesn't weigh over 100 pounds....lol


Yes they do cost a bit more than other species but I think they are more than worth it.
I personally love the star species. My favorite so far.

I bought three small groups and exactly half of each group were male. All were "incubated for female". When they were babies I envisioned having the "problem" of too many females. Nope. Didn't go that way.

I thought the same way. What am I going to do with 10 females??

5 were tsm and all those are male. So I had the same thing happen with my tsf half went male. So far...

Here they are 3 months later. Started soaking them in two containers now. Getting crowded. Couldn't imagine that this time last year.

For the pictures sake I put them all together though.
