My baby sulcata will not eat food with calcium powder! However, he'll eat all the food around it. Any other sources for calcium?

Cuttlebone. I prefer to calcium powder. Mine won't touch it for months and then they'll Chow down on it. I also believe that they know when they need calcium and I'd rather them choose when they want it, rather than me forcing them to eat it.

I have one in there for him and he's never touched it! Sometimes I scrape it on his food and he won't eat the food with it... does he have enough, maybe?

I'd leave the cuttlebone in the enclosure. Like I said, they'll not touch it for a long time and then I'll hear "crunching." They get calcium from there regular diet also.

If they won't eat when you apply calcium powder, then you're applying too much. All it takes is a very tiny pinch between your thumb and index finger. Then take a fork and mash it all up to mix it in with the food so it can't be seen.
