White ring?

Hey guys, I noticed yesterday when bathing minty he had some white lines around his shell, does anyone know what they could be and advice on what to treat them if it’s caused by something?

That is new growth ring. Nothing to worry about.

Do a forum search for "squiggly lines". You'll find many threads on this subject.

No one knows what they are, but we have lots of guesses, and they are not harmful or an indicator of any problem. Totally normal and most commonly seen after a soak.
