What wattage is best for young hermann s

Can some please respond I am going to get a hermann very soon and I am thinking that 100 watt is good

Depends on the size of the enclosure. Are you talking about a 100 watt CHE?

4ft×20in wood enclosure and I mean power sun mecury vapor bulb

The 100 watt one will probably work for you, but only your thermometer can answer that for sure.

And 4x2' is much too small for a hermanni unless its a new hatchling.

Most use that for our tortoises to bask under. You want about 100F underneath your mercury. Only way to know is checking your temps. Best way is to use a rock under it and point a temp gun at it. CHE's work great for night heat.
