Picked these weeds in our yard. What are they...and are they edible?

Don't know 1.
2 is in the dandelion family and its edible.
Ditto 3.
Don't know 4, 5, or 6.
7 is sow thistle. Also good for them as part of a balanced diet.

Good. So far nothing toxic. Thanks Tom.

Five looks like a daisy of some sort. We have wild ones here and I don't allow mine to eat it.

For the weed in your first picture, take a look at post #1 in this thread:

http://www.tortoiseforum.org/thread-14564.html

If it is the same plant, its groundsel and not edible.

I have #4 growing in my pasture. The horse won't eat it, and it smells pungent. I've been pulling and tossing it. It goes to seed as a very young plant and is quite hard to get rid of.

Yeah, that does look like your groundsel. Thanks for that. I won't feed it. And the one that looks feathery crops up everywhere so I will start picking it out and throwing it out.
