I've heard a few different thing from different people....but I just wanted to check exactly what lights I need to keep miss Tallula happy & healthy
A UVB lamp, a basking/heat lamp .....but for night time, can I use something I've heard of called a "red lamp". Or don't I need something for night time on at all?
Tallula's enclosure is in my room, right next to my bed, and of course if I want to keep night time temps up at a certain level...my room gets pretty warm, especially now that its moving into Dubai summer, which is excruciatingly hot haha. 30 C at night and humid...55degrees during the day...maybe I'll just need a UVB lmap for summer lol!
Thanks in advance all
Well actually, we'll soon start using our a/c at night....room gets too warm....so will maybe need some kinda heat lamp
LOL !! Nevermind !!!! I found the most AWESOME pdf.file on tortoise trust, it has answered every question I have pretty much had haha. Is there some way I can attach it on here? I will try find the link for it now anyway, I think it's a must read for every new tort owner
Ok well, if you go to www.tortoisetrust.com, it's there labeled on the front page "Taking care of pet tortoises" - it's for mainly Greeks, russian, hermanns.....all the mediterranean tort types ....unless everyone has seen it before HAHA.
