UVB bulb

I currently have my tort in a 2x2x?(maybe 2) enclosure, i was told to use a UVB 15.0 bulb beacuse there is screen over the top, i have been using this for the last 4+ months, i can and have sometimes taken the screen off and just let it shine on him, now is this too much UVB light? is there such a thing as too much?

as long as he can get out of the "sun", he should be fine. Just keep an eye on his eyes. If he starts getting watery eyes, that could be a sign of too much.

with those bulbs i dont htink you can have too much. But he needs to be able to escape it, dont force it on him. Dont be to worried, if you have it on he is getting uvb.
