No really this isn't a cute thing about a tort eating the grass.
I am used to dealing with St Augustine Sod. I have recently moved to a colder climate where it goes dormant.
I have planted some Rye seed and it is coming in nicely.
I need to know when I can cut it. I would hate to do it too soon and kill the grass and I also don't want it to grow too long so it bends over.
the torts aren't paying much attention to it but I would rather have something green under them if the do want a snack.
