My little Waffle, who hasn't been feeling well, was being so active today, I had to post an update on how she's doing. I put her (I switch pronouns frequently) into a nice warm soak, to which she woke up and began very angrily stomping around, giving me the distinct impression of "Moooooooooooom..... I don't like itttt...." After this stomping continued for a good five minutes or so, she finally gave up and relaxed in her nice warm water, drank a little, and is now relaxing. To see the burst of energy was a real relief to me, since Waffle has been so lethargic. I'm hoping for a turnaround in my little tort ^_^

That's great news! Some people have reported their torts fight the bath more when they can see out, like with the plastic tub you are using.

I can attest to that. Our little tortoise would only sit still in the bath for about five minutes before attempting to climb the clear container walls. Brendel seems to relax much longer in the bath after I wrapped the container in masking tape. I did the same thing with the vivarium to keep the little dude from testing the walls all the time.

I soak Speedy in a white tub I got at Walmart . He just loves it , he just stretches out and really seems to enjoy it . When he starts running all over I know it is too cool , and its time for him to come out ! ;)
