hey, so I am kinda new to tortoises and was wondering if a 3 FT by 1 and a half FT enclosure be a okay cage size for a Hermann's or a Red-Foot. If not what would be okay for a Hermann's. And also some basic care for the Hermann's Tortoise would be nice.
Thanks :tort:

Im not too sure on the redfoots, but as for Hermanni's the smallest size enclosure you should get is a 4ft by 2ft. Normally a turtle table is the best option, really simple and cheap to build! :)

If space is a problem, go with a Hermanns or Russian. Even then, you want 6'x2' for an adult, with hopefully an outside enclosure for the warmer months, at least during the day. You can also consider a two level tort table with a ramp to save on space and increase size.
Redfoots get bigger, so 4'x8' is often suggested.
