These pics were taken about 20 minutes or so after she had started digging.

In her "trance" -

I'm going to say that she will probly lay 5 or more BIG eggs! It was 4:53 p Central when the above were taken.. I've gone to get some supper.

Let's see what she does.. it usually takes an hour or more to finish - I'm going out now to check on her.....

Very nice! She's in the zone lol. Is it common for them to be laying this time of year? I guess it is spring in South America lol. Or do they lay all year for the most part?

``Hey, I notice you have reduced your redfoot herd some lately....Why was that? You focusing on the water species mainly now?

Great video, I expected you to catch them for her! :D

I'm waiting for Einstina to lay her 3rd clutch here in a few weeks.

Chucky acquired Einstina as a hatchling in '05 - take a wild guess where she came from.... btw those will be the second season she has created F2 hatchlings.

She looked like this then - [ see date lower right ] -

And her babies look like this -

Yep.. the background was grey.. the dandelion was green.. and the redfoot is.....

Cool Terry!

Any info you would be willing to share on reducing your redfoot herd? Just curious as these guys were your passion for some time. Is it just to focus on your water ones now?

Thanks again for sharing!
