I thought I should introduce the rest of my reptile pets. In addition to the 5 turtles and 4 tortoises, I have 3 lizards and 6toads.
First are the toads they are all fire belly toads (snap, pop, zip, zing, crash, and kapow). Then I have my two bearded dragons. The male is a "German giant purple tiger stripe citrus" named joker (he is the bigger one) and the female is a purple tiger stripe citrus sandfire named harlequin.
Then their is my Chinese water dragon

The Chinese water dragon is named riddler though he goes by Tai most days.
I will try to get another better shot of the fire bellies in their new set up.

Beautiful! I love the Batman-themed names!! Very clever and unique, especially with the toads!
Makes me curious as to what your tortoises and turtles are named...
I'm partial to beardies, but your CWD is so pretty I may just have to do some research to see if I want one... :p
Thanks for sharing!

CWDs are gorgeous but require a lot of specialized care and a cage that is minimum the size a fridge but 6x3x8' LxWxH is best and that's for just one. They are very delicate as hatchlings and are prone to mouth rot and eye infections. As adults they are a little more hardy but accident prone and loosing some of their tail, toes, or broken bones is too fairly common (he lost 5in of his tail). Now once you have the cage perfected and clean out their very large ponds every few days even with a filter then its easy enough to prevent most health problems. However you still have to deal with their stubbornness.
These are very opinionated lizards and if they get bored then they stop eating and then you get to play the game of ordering food item after food item to find something interesting enough for your lizard to eat.
Mine seems to think he can fly as he has left dirt impressions on the glass windows at the very top (about 6 feet from the floor). And he is a bit sadistic as he won't eat most of the food I give him but he does like to watch the bugs drown and will mangle any fish in his pond and leave chunks of food item strewn throughout his cage. While I clean his cage he will climb to a top branch or on my head and either smack me or whip me with his tail until I am finished. Then as I go to close his cage he just looks at me in his high and mighty way before he just kinda falls off his branch into his pond.

But he is my favorite of all my animals and definitely my favorite species of reptile even with the challenges.

Do you keep your fire bellied toads in water?

I have changed their layout so many times as they keep changing to different size tanks but yes they usually have mostly water with objects to climb on to get out of the water and then I use a dog bowl with moss as additional land areas.
The next setup I will do will have a planted tank with a small pond and waterfall.

I have on tort named Bane to continue the batman theme as he was the only one i named. but the rest are random names that my stepfather decided on.
Jack, moe, manny, beaker, puck, and Dozer.
