So after a month and a half of waiting I finally got my tortoise table built!

It was a long day!

The table is 8ft x 3ft and has a removable divider in the middle so each side is 4x3. The walls are 6" x 1" and have 6" of plexi glass on top of them

(3) 1 x 6's
(1) plexi glass sheet
(1) 4x8 sheet of plywood
(1) box of screws
(2) tiles

$70

Have to finish up the rest of the plexi glass

The table came out Gigantic but I think they will get to enjoy it for quite some time, Lights were added shortly after pics

I am considering making a small house for each side that is a second story, I don't know yet if they will use a ramp though

Tell me what you guys think

Nice and big. That should last a long time for you.

I don't know if you have already thought of this, but you might consider lining it with a heavy plastic so that you can keep the substrate moist without the bottom getting soaked.

Nice and big! The plexiglass as a side extender is a great idea. One of my torts has a ramp, with small cross pieces of wood to help with climbing. You could use plexiglass along the side to keep them from falling off.
I also used some strips of 'anti skid' (self stick, used on steps, etc.) in between the cross pieces which helps trim their nails.
Well done.
