I need to get UVB lights for 2 different aquariums.
One is for my Mississippi mud turtle. She LOVES to bask, and basks under her heat lamp frequently. I had an MVB for her heat and UVB, but her carapace started getting a little bumpy, which I understand can be caused by the UVB. So I'm looking at Arcadia lamps online. Unsure if I should get the 6% UVB or the 12%. The light will be 10+ inches above her platform.

The other light is for my Razor Backed Musk turtle. He has never attempted to bask in the 14 months that I've had him, preferring to either hide or just roam around the tank. I assumed he would get his vitamin D from his food, but would like to have a UVB basking light option for him, too. The water in his tank is deeper, so the light would be 8" above his basking platform, but it'll be a lot closer once I raise the water level, which I plan to do later this year.

Maybe the 12% for each of them?
Any input is appreciated.

The 12% needs to be mounted around 20-22 inches away and still makes very strong UV at that distance.

I've never measured a 6% tube.
