Any tips on what to feed my little Sulcata to keep him healthy and any tips on how to keep him from pyramiding? Thank you.

This is our partial list of edible plants for a Sulcata.
Healthy fresh tortoise foods are in abundance everywhere - you just need to know what to look for. This list is intended to serve as a guide to identifying natural foods, as easy and painlessly as possible. Remember to use only plants and grasses from chemical free sources.

1. GRASSES
Grasses -- either fresh or as grass hay -- should make up at least 75 percent of your sulcata tortoise's diet. You should try to supply as many different grasses or grass hays as you can from the following list

Tortoise Supply:
This is the grasses seed mix that we like the most for hatchlings and young Sulcata.
This grass mix grows to a short height. After it is clipped it grows very very slow.

Pasture mixes or other seeds from http://www.groworganic.com/seeds.html

Sulcata Food:
It grows extremely fast.
The picture is 9 days of growth.
In our hands when this mix is grown in a pot it doesn't regrow very well after it is clipped.

Carolina Pet Supply:
The Grazing Tortoise Seed Mix.
This is good for hatchlings, yearlings and adults. http://www.carolinapetsupply.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=41&products_id=179

Read the “sticky" posts at the top of the sulcata section. There you will find answers to many of the questions you have.
And welcome to the forum! Bounce over to the introduction section and introduce yourself and show off pictures of your tortoise. Have fun here. We're a pretty friendly group of keepers that just want to help you and your tortoise have a happy, healthy, long life together.

I second what Ken said above. There are two threads on overall how to raise a healthy sulcata and a thread on sulcata diet. Those three are always at the top of the sulcata section and have helped me a lot. I've found browsing other threads and searching will often find whole threads discussing my questions.

isnt Epipremnum aureum toxic ? i see it in the list .

I'm wondering about Wisteria, Hollyhock, and Dahlia. I got a kick out of seeing that they could eat Staghorn fern. I've been looking for one for years for my house, the nursery finally got a small one...for $50!. Yeah sure, I'll feed that to Bob...
Oh and in the lilies column, Asiatic lilies are poisonous also...
