Sulcata tortoise mating size

How big does a sulcata tortoise have to be to mate and lay eggs annabell is 6 1/2 to 7 inches and i am not sure when she can mate and I am not absolutely sure she is a girl but that is the best estimate we can make

Male sulcatas mature sooner than females. Females are around 14" in a straight line, front to back, but bigger is better.

Males can reproduce at 14". Females 17-18".

These are the norms, but there are occasional exceptions. I have heard of two different females breeding as small as 15", but as I said, that is not normal.

At 7" you often can't even tell the sex yet.
