I use a baby toothbrush to clean up my babies but how do I clean the feet? My guys are dirty today one of them pooped when he was outside and walked through it. I can't get it off with the toothbrush I'm afraid it will hurt him. Also nail are very long any advice?

Do you have rocks that they can't swallow that are flat they could walk on? That might help a little.

If my tortoise is extra dirty, I just soak him in warm water and try to get the poo off as best I can. it won't hurt if it stays on. They sleep in it all of the time. You can use a brush on the legs.

Can you post a pic of their feet with the nails showing. if they are really long then you could try filing them.

I let my little guy walk on the sidewalk to keep his nails a good length... He also rubs his beak on the concrete

I just rub their feet with my fingers to get off anything sticky. Sometimes denture brushes are softer than tooth brushes if you are worried about irritating them.

The nails are normal length and don't need to be trimmed. I wouldn't worry about them being dirty either. I just soak and rinse mine.
