hi, this is Kevin a 3yr old Herman's, he (I think is a he) is eating fine, and shows no sign of distress, but I've noticed the left side of the upper jaw is split, will it grow out or is it a visit to the vet? He eats mostly salad/ lettice/kale from a bowl, he's got a uv/heat lamp on 12hrs a day (standard shop bought enclosure. Any help appreciated.20200906_113437.jpg

As it grows out the new growth won't be split. . . that is, unless he continues to put pressure on the lower part on the side and causes stress on the crack. It would be a good idea to take the toe nail clippers and clip little pieces off the edge of the side part so it doesn't touch when he bites his food.
