I have spent the week reading and reading about tortoises! I came home from the pet shop in freezing northern minnesota with a sulcata on monday and have since discovered I love the little thing but cant provide the life it deserves 
....so back it went today. I miss him/her tons already but am trying to decide what tortoise will be best for me. Kinda thinking a hermanns because of all the reports about their personality and while my hermann won't be outside 8 months of the year I can set up a pretty wonderful inside space for it. Feel very fortunate to have this site aid in my search! I appreciate any information you are all willing to share.
Name is Niecie. live in way northern minnesota....have two little ladies..aged 4 and 7. A goldendoodle named jack. Two cats. Bert and little black kitty. Bug eyef goldfish and random water frog my boyfriend's son outgrew and my man pet, thomas.
