smarty pants RT figured out the med routine

So I've been giving Comrad his meds (for parasites) every 2 weeks, and today was a scheduled day. Well, my dang 'ol smarty pants of a tortoise figured out my routine (I feed him a treat and when he opens his mouth I shoot a bit of meds into him) and would have NOTHING to do with me OR the food today. I was only able to give him one small shot of his dose. Does anyone have suggestions? I turned him over and supported his head to try & open his mouth but I only have 2 hands

Suggestions will be MUCH appreciated.

p.s: I had to put away the syringe of meds away and out of site before he would come back to his food to eat. He's so smart

If you get a dry piece of Mazuri and soak the medicine into it, he might still eat it.

also, maybe try to squirt it into a small strawberry or in a bite of pumpkin???

or you could cover his little eyes and sneak up on him....lol
