Was wondering what are some good things to use for sight barriers or hides to make it feel more like home for my russian tortoises?

Plants are always nice. Either real or fake. A hiding place can be something bought, like those half logs the pet stores sell, or something you make. There's a cute one at the pet stores now that looks like an empty tortoise shell. You can get a piece of PVC that's bigger than your turtle, cut it in half lengthwise and then cover it all up with substrate so it looks like a cave.

Flower pots part buried on their side in the substrate make a good hide.

And plants, real ones that they can nibble on are the best sight barriers.

Logs, rocks, and even the substrate itself if you have hills and valleys of it along with the other things mentioned.

Where is your enclosure located?(what state?) Does it get lots of sun, lots of shade or some of both? Want something for him to eat or more for hiding?
