Cali Nelson's new palace!!

My boyfriend built Nelson a lovely new home.
Back in Chicago his enclosure was 4x2. His new one is 8x3.
I don't know who is more excited- me or Nelson!

It's simple, not beautiful, but it's PERFECT!!

Now I get to decorate! Add some sight barriers to break it up, a few plants... I think I'm still going to bring him in at night since I don't know what kind of people or animals are around here.

That's pretty cute (him inside the cinder block). I have a cinder block up against the fence in my Steppe tortoise pen because the ground was uneven due to a tree root and I worried it might make them try to dig under at that spot. I have a very large female, Fat Betty, and she sleeps in there every night. She scrapes on both sides. They DO love those cinder block garages, don't they?
