Shell Growth Lines!

My Sulcata Has Growth Lines On The Shell, But They Are Black?
Is This Common, i Have Seen White Growth Lines All The Time :)

Tejas has black growth lines as well but your sulcata is a lot lighter in color so I can't say if it's common.

A picture please! I'm not sure why it's growing black when it's normally white. Sounds interesting.

Every sulcata that I have ever raised with the "wet" routine always has dark new growth. It will lighten up over time as they get larger. I think the sun "bleaches" it.

Yea Im Not Worried, Iv Heard of Black Lines Growing But Never Knew Why

Einsteins grow black, then change to white for a bit, then back to dark. Tt's pretty weird I agree !
