I have had her for about 1 1/2 months and when I first got her she didnt even move for the first 2 days. Now she is very active and turns all the hides over in the enclosure and thrashes everything. First thing I noticed about her was her very light tan skin. Shes dirtied up now

They crack me up when they are hatchling to few years old size. I love how they run real fast when you pick them up and put them back down.

Just the 1 now. They really havent been a priority being so expensive. I will get some more though. They are awesome. Kinda act like aldabras. Stand up straight and wiggle when sprayed down.

I showed my wife how they stand straight up when being misted down, she thought it was pretty funny. Im trying to get a pic of them all doing it at the same time. I wonder why they stand straight up when misted. I remember seeing your big guy, he is a beautiful big fellow. Is yours a male as far as you know, from everything I hear they are pretty hard to sex

It is funny. I had him scoped. Funny story too. Dr.Koplos in El Paso did it. He is a major radiated breeder. He called me after the procedure and said well sorry but I gotta charge yah, and he just flashed me. Ha was funny I guess. Sometimes you can massage their cloaca with a q-tip after a soak and get them to reveal their gender. But I could of sworn he was a she. But works for me. Their will be a shortage of males in upcoming years, since everyone is incubating females now days and past 4-5 years.

That is a funny story, if he could have only done that for you:D you could have saved a couple bucks. I have 2 that were scoped and 2 that were not. See what combination that ends up being years down the road and hopefully breed these guys some day[/i]

Thats exactly what happened up north with the red foots, Males got so rare they were going for $1000 + each..... Everyone was after the gold rush and incubating high for hatch rates and females.
